Spoiler-light guide
The World
Divine Rift starts on a snowy night in New York City and opens onto a universe of gods, hidden moons, space stations and bridges between the stars.

The Father and his four children
There are five gods: The Father and his four children, Daun (love), Lucius (willpower), Reba (war) and Asher (mirth). Daun spun the Milky Way. The Father forged the God Armor: the Amulet, the Gloves of the Infinite, the Helm of Insight and the Boots of the Celeri.
Earth and Eden
Earth has its ordinary Moon, and a second one it can’t see: Eden, Earth’s hidden moon. Eden is ruled by five Houses, and its people, the Edenites, have wings built for speed, not altitude. Below Eden’s towers lies Pitthom, where the wingless are sent.

Axis Space Station
Axis is the home of the Axilians, a four-armed people whose dot patterns mark lineage and whose eyes change shade with mood. Axis houses the Galactic Union of Planets in the Union tower, with its General Assembly Hall and Galactic Court. Eight Tachyon bridges leave Axis for the realms beyond.

Guardians of the sectors
Keep Safe agents watch over numbered sectors under the Galactic Union. In Sector 4508, the Womb, Alfa Tiptoe leads Tonton, Tam El and Ullugo Gutnexx.
The Warbucks
Benjamin Bons is Earth’s first and only Warbuck, his name known across a dozen galaxies for his skill and his nerve. The assassin called the Hawk is a Warbuck too.
